I have PDLS but I can't say I derive significant benefit from it. Decent xenons (or LEDs?) are good enough IMO.

if you do a lot of night driving in dimly lit areas, sure, LEDs and PDLS adds weight....
Otherwise standard is good enough.

many thanks guys. Does PDLS really add much weight over the xenons. Just reading through the GT2RS thread and someone mentioned they add a lot of weight

Like a lot of options, nice to have, and I've had the on my last few Porsches.

But, on a GT car, I would be considering the extra weight penalty. In isolation, it may not be much, but spec'd correctly, you can save a lot of weight by ticking the option boxes carefully.

I say that if you spend reasonable time driving at night in country lanes then go one step further and get the full LED PDLS+ system. Set it to 'Auto' and marvel at how the light distribution pattern and beam throw constantly changes to the optimum settinng whilst automatically applying local dimming when there is an oncoming vehicle. PDLS+ turns night to day and makes it easier to press on swiftly. It's a shame that it's a £2k option.

If you don't drive lanes at night, then standard or PDLS will be fine.
