BBS WHEELS FOR GT3
Discussion
RG.
I have been advised (obvious when you think about it) the offsets have no effect on the brake clearance. Depending on the shape of the inside of the wheel. I may have to use the standard 3mm or go to 5mm spacers to get the face of the caliper to clear the inner face of the wheels.
BBS I guess have offered their Cup series wheels which fit the 996RSR which obviously have the flaired arch add-ons (like on yours).
The wheels offered (give or take a mm) are in the same inner position but are wider by nearly an inch, which will foul the outside of the standard arches/liners.
So we need to stick to standard 8J ET52 at the front. Not even sure if they do that size but will have to see.
(The rears do not appear to be an issue as there is more clearance and the brakes are unchanged. The tyres will fit either 10's or 11's and the offset is ok).
Will bell you Monday
