Tyre place needed
Discussion
Just bought some new alloys for my 991, I need to transfer the tpms from the stock alloys and fit new tyres. My OPC said they wouldn't do it and my local tyre place said they couldn't guarantee that the new alloys wouldn't get scratched. So am looking for a recommendation for a tyre place that can do this and take extra care. In/Around London preferred.
Another vote for Wheels in Motion Chesham. They have a 'Boss' touchless tyre machine which is basically a robot system so the rim is not touched at all. Last time I used them a couple of years ago, it was only £20 a wheel for fitting.

Ordered my Cup2's online and had them fitted here:

They did a great job, have all the good alignment and balancing kit, can order/test/replace TPMS, and are based just off A406 in Chingford.

These guys are good... they come round to yours in van with all the latest equipment.
Very professional and there is no risk to rims if using the correct equipment.

I think guys who set it up are well known in tyre business... real deal.
I had them round twice. Unbeatable on price but offhand blokes and let wheels 'boing', falling over, slightly scratching raised centre on drive. Plus, got stroppy when i said no air gun on alloy nuts. Very professional and there is no risk to rims if using the correct equipment.
