Porsche 996 engine trouble
Discussion
Hi.
I have a Porsche 911 996 3.4 with an oil/coolant problem. I've had the engine out and looked at and it apparently needs a cylinder head. The garage cannot find a cylinder head anywhere for it and have asked if I can help and find one. Without wishing to break forum rules... can anyone suggest anything that may help me in my quest to find what I need? I need a cylinder head for my 3.4 996 (bank 1).
Many thanks

Try searching on ebay Germany, I've found a number of hard to get spares on there, mostly from Poland strangely.
IE Mk3 Transit, Mk 4 Mondeo parts, unobtainable in UK but cheap and plentiful on there, even found a RHD headlamp for my Aprilia Mille, arrive just as quick as parts from UK.
My German is pretty rudimentary past " zwei bier bitte" but its not hard to make out whats what as ebay use the same template everywhere.
Have a look on ebay USA as well but most sellers are reluctant to send stuff overseas which is frustrating, I have had to have parcels delivered to relatives in the US then posted to me when buying classic motorbike parts not available elsewhere.
