Boot space is not a issue really (I can do without it)
The main problem is iam only 24 and feel like the rs4 is a bit off a old mans car?
The Rs4 is fast but just lacks any feel in the driving department and can get quite boring !!
thanks for the advice so far
Hmmm, i think you may be in for more of a culture shock than you think going straight to a GT3, i would maybe try a turbo instead. similar power delivery to your Audi, but a fair bit sharper i would think.

Glen can you go into a bit more detail ??
My brother who posted above has a turbo and I really enjoy driving that but just cannot afford one !

There have been loooooooads of posts comparing GT3's to turbo's on this forum, and probably will be for years to come still.
Bottom line,
GT3= purer sports car that is designed with track work in mind, and lower/harder than turbo, so road manners can be a little compromised.
very tunable suspension.
Turbo= the ultimate alround sports car that is nearly untouchable on the road, especially in the wet, and is certainly no slouch on track. with added usability of rear seats.
not such a pure drivers car though, and 150+kg heavier.

If you are talking about a road based car forget it.
You don't so much drive a GT3 on road as fly it.
On the averagely terrible roads near me I can get around quicker and safer in my girlfriend's Vectra! A short drive cross country results in my fillings scattered round the interior, white figer syndrome and arms like Popeye (Only a tad exaggerated ;o) for poetic licence).
However, if you are sticking to nice smooooth roads then fair nuff!
On track???? Now that's a different kettle of poissons!

I had a MK1. It was fine on the road.... Providing you concentrated. The spring rate isn't that mad. They have to be relatively soft to deploy the power. You can set the geometry any way you want it. If softened off the bars, it would be fine on the road.. But that would be missing the point.
GT3's were built for the race track and will always be compromised on the road, but they are not as bad as you think.
