Can roof rails be retro fitted to a Cayenne?

I need to be able to use a roof box so roof rails are a must but not many Cayenne's seem to have them.

Bad news. They can't. Or rather you would need to drill into the roof and likely need all sorts of other things so can't be an easy job. I've seen a few cars with the bars that wrap around the roof edge but they didn't look the best and I would have been worried about how secure they were.

They can't be retrofitted on the model that's about to be replaced and most cars have them? Are you looking at en earlier series ?

I retrofitted some to a 2010 one,(958).
You do need to pull the rooflining down to gain access and measure up carefully,but simple enough to do if you trust yourself with a drill.
