Anyone able to confirm what this key might be for?

Hi Guys,

Googled around and can't seem to find an answer.... almost certainly because I'm using the wrong form of words

Anyone know what the key on the right is? I have 2 for my 996, no idea what they are used for (glove box, armrest etc all use main key, no airbag switch, wheelnuts are all standard lockers that just need an adapter).

No mention in the manual, it's not a valet key or the spare (non-remote) key ... hell, it's not even a car blade type key.

But.... that style of wheel lockers weren't used on 996's?

Hi Its the key for original locking wheel nuts, used on everything from 924 to 964/928.

So my guess was right thanks.

No idea why it's on the 996's key ring then....
