Article from June, 2017: Head of Porsche Motorsport Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser has revealed that 2019 is the next “window” where it’s feasible to offer a new version of the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport.
Later in the article he states that customers should be able to run a generation of cars for 3years/seasons before expecting to have to upgrade for a new gen with major update...
Interesting tip-bits.... GT4 technical regulation on weight to power. 3kg per hp.
Maybe gives insight to possible timeline for the next gen road car? if they follow the same development and launch programme.
