Managed to dent my front bumper slightly, it might be recoverable if the dent can be worked back out but just looking at what it will cost for a replacement.

Model is a 997 Gen 2 C2S

Spotted a used C4S online, I know the rear of the 4S can be wider but is the front bumper the same between a C2S and a C4S?

Anyone took the opportunity to replace with the stock number with an aero kit or something different? Although thinking that requires rear changes as well?

Cheers

Ello.
Can't comment on the bodykit question but Yes, C2 and C4 / 4s are the same dimensions at the front, so the PU will just be a straight swap.

Recommendation from Porsche is that if you fit the Aerokit front bumper you need to balance the air flow with the rear Aerokit parts. For our roads and limits, I don't think you'd notice any imbalance but that's the official line.

Just consider that the lower lip of the front bumper (which you paint or leave black) is lower than the stock bumper. If you've got gradient or clearance issues it may not be a wise change.

There's a Guards Red 997.1 C4S cabrio near me. It has the Aerokit front bumper and the engine cover/spoiler from a 997 Turbo. Looks a bit odd.
