Having considered holding out for a new Cayenne and hoping Porsche released a diesel (which I understand they are now not) and also considering the SQ7

I took the plunge on a fully loaded stock S Platinum Edition.

So far no regrets!!

Certainly does look fully loaded...they're great cars. We've done 10k miles in ours since March....family runabout extraordinaire!

I've just seen a cracking deal on these on Instagram. Gutted, as this is not the right time to be pulling the trigger as they say. So I've put Cayenne Platinum into the search function on here just to torture myself further!

Looks fantastic OP, enjoy.

Don't know if you're bothered, but earlier you had hidden your number plate details, but not on your latest photo?

Nice car btw, I had the intention of buying a used diesel S Cayenne, after being impressed with the loan car I had, but got distracted by a new Macan. Not much in it boot wise and I don't really need the rear passenger space. The fact I can 'just' about garage the Macan seemed a slight plus for me?

Have an almost identical car done 5k miles, it's my 3rd Diesel S they are just brilliant.

You need the air, LED's and Burmeister though IMHO!

I had a Macan loan car on Friday first one I've driven...high spec Macan S Diesel . I liked it but I didn't think it was that much better in terms of handling etc than the Cayenne to be honest....the Cayenne really handles superbly well for such a big car.
Biggest difference is that V8 Diesel and the interior is a nicer place to be on the Cayenne.

Agree on the V8, much nicer than the V6, less impressed by the box over the PDK and from the drivers seat, not much in it for me? But, certainly next time the upcoming Cayenne will get full consideration.

Yeah decided I wasnt fussed on hiding it! Ha

I tried the Macan two years ago but went SQ5. This time the Cayenne pipped the equivalent Audi IMO
