Buying a 130k mls Cayenne S
Discussion
Hey folks,
I have the opportunity to purchase a 2004 Cayenne S with 130k miles on...for under£4k.
It has recently had £2k spent on major service, new injectors and brake refurb. Clean and tidy inside and underneath, paint needs a good Polish.
But I'm thinking it may well have had £2k spent but that doesn't mean it doesn't need much more....
What sort of things should I be looking out for?
I'll probably get an inspection done anyway but just for my own edification?!?
Cheers,
Al.

Evo did a brief buyers guide in 2015 that's worthy squint. I've a friend with a very early Turbo Cayenne that's only ever been to the OPC & has been service on the dot that's done about from new (he bought it new). It went through a very purple patch a few years ago whilst he could still get Porsche warranty that included a new engine (about £15k). It's been nicknamed "Triggers Broom" for the level of replacement parts it's now had.
The weak point for my friends car is now lack of use.
Good luck with your purchase
