How can a car be 'maintained regardless of cost', yet have no service history?

That's not a 4S.

Those hips aren't wide enough.(i've had C4S and C2)
Wrong front bumper (Carrera).
Silver calipers (4, not 4S).
Wrong spoiler grill (2S).
And that weird cabrio third brake light, even though it also has the rear screen third brake light.

End of sermon.

ummm, is that really a c4s? I thought they had c4s written on the dials?

VS? Does this look like your old one?

No red calipers?

Also the engine cover is a c2s version and why 'upgrade' the turbo alloys?

I've got a 4S and this one just doesn't look right - not wide enough, not low enough, wrong calipers, wrong spoiler. I'm with VS and Burnt on this one.

And I don't like the wheels either.

Turbo body; er, no, that's a turbo bumper

Turbo Brakes; hmm, normal brakes painted red

etc.

If it looks too good to be true then it probably is.

Then again I may be wrong and the car is top notch and the guy's neighbour too lazy to take it to a dealer and also totally unaware of it's market value.

Gotta love these people who aspire to a 993 S so much that they convince themselves they already have one ;o)
The black 993 S cab on ebay is amusing, says 'limited edition'.......so limited in fact that they never made any factory cars. No doubt some numpty will go and buy it and get a rude/embarassing awakening.

CAT D usually means fairly chunky damage (but still less than value of car) and previous owner rejected having it fixed - think what 20k worth of damage looks like. Steer well clear - probably had the chassis straightened and all sorts - likely bought through an auction hence lack of docs, this generally means the buyer fixes, hence he probably specced up all the dodgy kit like 4S spoiler and bumper and his mate down the road fitted, as for the upgraded alloys more like replaced as the orignals were shagged in the crash....this car stinks!
