Recently purchased a few weeks ago (2004 plate) and getting PSM & ABS warning lights come on, with dash flashing 'ABS failure & 'PSM failure drive to workshop.'
Any advice really appreciated, got a feeling this could be an expensive fix......
Cheers, Gary

Check your brake lights come on. I had a similar problem and it was the brake light switch. If the switch has gone, then your lights won't come on, or in my case they flickered. Easy and cheap fix if it is the switch.

Thanks for taking the time to respond guys, reassuring to have people around that know what they’re talking about. The battery is new so maybe the alternator or a simple switch, fingers crossed when I drive away this morning it will all have been a horrible dream and my beautiful 911 is 100% faultless as before ....mmmmm?

Yep possibly this, i had exactly the same fault as you and it was the brake light switch, about £20 plus labour if i remember correctly.

I don’t like trying to diagnose over the web as there are so many variables, but it would be worth having the hot film air mass flow sensor (MAF) checked if the problem is still present. You don’t really want PSM failing as it is a very useful safety net as Winter approaches smile
