'Monaco' Singer up for sale
Discussion
Seems Ed Lovett has put his Singer up for sale with DK Engineering.

Stunning car but have to say I'm not a massive fan of the interior. If I win the Euro Millions this week that won't be a problem though as I'll just get it re trimmed.
Great opportunity for someone to get hold of a mint car without the several year wait.
Any hazard's on the price? North of £500K I would imagine which seems a lot for a 911 but I'd far rather own this than a 3RS 4.0 or the new GT2RS.

I suspect this will trade above the price it costs to order one .... and with something that bespoke I think I would want to have to full ordering experience, even if it entails a long wait
Alas not in a position to consider ordering one, even a long time ago when I enquired about prices they were well and truly out of budget (and thanks to the retarded import taxes the already high number grew by another 30 percent or so)
Probably my high-budget forever car (a 250 SWB would be my unlimited budget forever car)

I'd take that one, even with that interior, over the new Singer/Williams. Seems strange that a company that has made its reputation on making the car look "just right" now wants to give it the equivalent of a Pagani body kit.
Loads of pics of the new car on social media this afternoon. Jury's out for me but even if I had the folding I'd rather take a 'standard' 4.0 or even 3.8 car.I see these very much as road cars so chucking more power and performance at it seems unnecessary to me. If I wanted to spend this sort of cash for big performance in a 911 shape I'd have gone for the new Ruf CTR.
New engine and ram air intakes does look a work of art though.

Stunning car but I'am not sure about the rear view showing all that tyre area...looks a bit awkward..???
It would look very nice in my garage.
Rear ride height/wheel to arch gap looks just plain weird/ waaaay too high in some of the images. It would look very nice in my garage.
And that interior is making me feel dizzy ....
Otherwise, it's pure 911 porn.

This is a good deal but it is wiser to purchase a brand new. The quality in general is good plus it has ownership value. Not bad to spend a little less.
There is over 2 year waiting list for a new one.It wouldn't take much to sort this one out to a spec I'd love, Re trim the seats, door cards and change the houndstooth dash areas. New carpets and it'd be ready to go.
Love the exterior colour.

Oh yeah!?! ...... how would YOU know?????

Is it as amazing to drive as it is to look at? Where would you rank it as a driving tool out of all the 911's you have driven?
It is actually a sweet car to drive. I'm having mine fitted with a 4.0 now (it came with a 3.8 Cosworth originally) as I think it could benefit from a bit more torque in the low to mid range...mine is an animal past 5000 rpms but a bit dead below, which is absolutely fine on track but on the road I need a wider range of use. While at it I'll go for a shorter final drive ratio too (4.00 vs 3.44). It should be much more fun and involving to drive.- checks instagram

I guess a lot of owners will be wanting the 4.0L upgrade now its available, the waiting list must be quite long! Beautiful car by the way, really love these Singer 911's
I guess if I was ever in the market for one of these it would be as a result of the right amount of numbers come up having uttered the words 'lucky dip please' at Tesco.
On that assumption, I expect I'd pop myself on the waiting list and buy this to tide me over. It doesn't look at all bad but, as others have said, if I had the folding I'd want the full ordering experience.
I can but dream!
