Pork PHers in southern Spain questions
Discussion
We're going to be moving to just outside Marbella for a few months shortly, sort of an extended busman's holiday all being well and hopefully will also be taking the 993 down with us
Couple of questions:
Any Pork owners on here who might fancy meeting up when we're down? We won't know many people to every little helps!
Also, at the risk of jinxing it, does anyone have any recommendations for garages that could work on a 993 should anything need doing? Plan for the worst hope for the best etc!

Good luck with this but I got very little response from the Spain section of PH when I was seeking advice on shipping my car to Spain and Portugal for some track days last year. The Porsche club of Spain was very difficult to get any response from unlike Portugal where I met up with them at Estoril. Dealers and workshops are somewhat iffy down there.
So we arrived in Marbella with no dramas
Have to say that so far the 993 is the perfect car for down here - not overtly flashy like some of the metal and all the cooler for it
Did the run up to Ronda today in glorious sunshine which was great, reminded me loads of the Angeles Crest Highway.
Interestingly, in this part of the world I'd take the 993 Cab over Coupe any day for a road car: with weather like this (we've had the roof down every day since arriving due to sunshine and high teens/low 20s temps) and super smooth roads it makes better sense IMO
