While putting our soft top down before Christmas it the plastic rear window cracked - no warning just cracked. Temperature was about 10 degreees so should be OK. Anyway, the hard top is now off and we have some lovely tape over the crack to stop the rain getting in. Is there any way to repair the rear window? Cost of new is about £500, split is about 5 inches long.

Boxa.net has a good thread on a replacement hood with a glass screen! looks good and has had good reports from those who've taken the plunge.
