Hello

I'm looking for a late model (97 on) ECU for a 993 Turbo. The part number on this is:
993.618.666.10
Just in case anyone has removed one to fit a Powerkit or similar. Any leads appreciated.

Yes I've mailed them. It looks like 665.10 would do as well. No luck yet.

Have you tried the likes of Tech 9, Suttgart Connection, 9M, etc who do power upgrades, and may have OEM ecu's knocking about?

I *think* I heard that DMS can map the previously unmappable ecu like yours?

Erm... 9m sent him on the hunt for one!

Just to clarify, although the early ecu can in theory be converted & mapped the correct chips for the conversion (as used in the later "377" ecu) are no longer made. One possible solution is to hunt around scrap yards looking for the right donor Motronic ecu, but it does not make sense fitting secondhand components into an ecu to run a £20k engine. We certainly would not take this risk, which is why we quoted for a new ecu.
