GPS Speed Camera detector Installs
Discussion
hi ihave road angel in my 993. There is a recent thread on the subject. It justs sticks on to the windscreen when needed. Having bought the thing my opinion is this
1. the laser alert is not very convincing - i don't have too much confidence in it and so am still slowing down when i know there are police about without the help of my £329.99 toy (maybe i should have got new brakes tee hee)
2. I know where all the cameras are near me and as it only has a hit rate of 90% still survey the side of the road for the blighters constantly anyway.
3. Tom Tom which is slightly more money has a good database and also stops you getting lost (seen it in a mates car) simarlily Trackstar has a speed alert and stops people nicking your car (or insurers nicking your money).
In conclusion for a little more money you can get a dual purpose machine.
p.s. my dad has originb2 hard wired into his daimler and theyve only had to come back twice and it still doesn't work!
