Looks like a GT3 slayer especially when they go hybrid VTG to 500bhp which is next stage - looks the biz evil

One would expect the boost to be laggy and come in a bit strong. Be interesting to hear what you think, the 718 GTS is fast enough imo. The car I guess will feel under tyres with 265 p zero on it also. I can spin up the 981 Spyders rears in 3rd gear !

I did that with the 718GTS then realised it’s impossible to show any footage.

I wonder what suspension it's on. I'm sure it could be improved on fairly easily if KW or the likes do a decent kit and you took it to Centre Gravity or similar for some fettling...

Other than the engine, the car is completely standard

Here's an Ehresman 718 with lightweight wheels, Pirelli Trofeo R as KW V3.

The youtube idea was in jest H. No chance smile

The 9e 718 is bone stock other than flat and remap. I believe 9e may take on the balance of the manufacturers warranty too but 9e can chime in on this.

I personally use 9e because they're in the UK if anything goes wrong.

I know of another overseas tuner who is in complete denial about how unsafe his "safe tunes" are. I know of a 996 turbo, two 997.1 turbo and a 997.2 turbos that have blown their engines at VMAX type events in past 12 months. Customers don't share the truth and lemmings keep on blowing their engines.

I run 800bhp via 9e on my stock engine 997.1 turbo on race days. I've covered 30,000 fault free and car is on 87,000 miles (had a new engine via OPC at 57,000 miles). Ken doesn't like me running her so hard but if engine blows we'll tell the world and rebuild her better - completely different approach wink

Will do. Never driven any of the modern Caymans so might see if I can get a manual 981 GTS to compare. 911 Virgin had a beautiful yellow one not long ago wink

As an aside always loved the 987.
