Advice pls - maybe buying a 2014 Carrera S?
Discussion
Hi All, I’m pretty close to buying a 2014 Carrera S from a reputable garage and will come with 12 month warranty. My concern is the steering alignment - it is not central and out by about 12 degrees which I think is quite a lot and slightly surprised that the garage let me test drive a car with a price tag of 69k with pdk and decent options with the steering that mis alligned.
Any thoughts here please - should I steer clear 😜 or as the garage will correct this not be so worried?
If it was my car with the options it has - sport chrono, alcantara wheel etc I would have had no issue taking it it the local garage and getting it sorted for £50...
Advice appreciated!!!!

Any suggestions on who or standard AA RAC type like link below would do the job?

For that money you must go OPC. You should get a very good car for that money. I’ve just sold mine as I needed more room for my kids, loved it. Consider the options list wisely and I would suggest getting a manual:- I had mine a year and it cost me very little money which I’m not sure would be the case with the pdk. I’ve replaced it with a Macan Turbo which I love but tbh I think I’d love it more in manual guise!
My two previous 997s a few years ago were both manual and I like the pdk option. I’ll look into a local specialist to help do a check I think, strasse Porsche in Leeds always did a good job so will ask them if they do a check. But I get the point about opc although the 111 point check has some generic stuff there.
