Cayenne 13 plate steering rack...on long back order?

Hi,

Newbie, please be gentle. Hoping to tap into your vast collective knowledge ladies and gents.

Desperate to find a new steering rack for 13 plate Cayenne S diesel. It's been on order through an OPC since the beginning of March and delivery dates have been 'mobile' latest date is mid June.

Pulling my hair out, as my car is parked up, useless, looking sorry for it's self after a relatively minor clout in the March snow. Only waiting on this part. Porsche UK aware.

Any ideas please?

Hi I would try Western Power Steering company,on 0117 9602906 as they may be able to overhaul it.
