This is a last desperate attempt to acquire a set of PCM 1 satnav disks for Europe. I leave in 4 weeks and would like to travel with the help of the £1500 satnav fitted to my C4S. Anyone out there with a set they wish to sell or know where one can be bought?

Try ebay:

No association with seller etc etc, just did a search

Good luck

After my last OPC service there was an occasional clunk noise from the passenger door cubby, which turned out to be PCM disks. Strange, as I don't have PCM. Yours if you want them.....

Not sure of how much detail you require on the mapping for Europe, but even with the UK disc the PCM1 shows the major routes and motorways, it even plotted me a route back from Switzerland...via motorways.

Thanks for all the replies. Unfortunately PCM1 is very different from the PCM2 disks and are incompatible. I have tried contacing Navteq as that's what it says to do to get updates for the PCM1 disks on the box but they just refer back to the update section of their website which does not include Porsche as one of the manufacturers they provide for.
What a farce from a supposedly premium manufacturer!
I don't have this problem with other car manufacturer's. What is their problem??

their problem is they already have the money for the car - so why bother keep supporting it....unfortunately this is the porsche corporate ethos these days.
