Had a similar experience with an F40 recently on the way to Silverstone.

It might be a replica. I assume an actual 550 owner would not dare to drive or even insure it on m25, they are crazy expensive and rare. I know a chap from work, who had one of these at California. He has also ordered a replica to drive it, but kept the original one in the garage, cuz of the insurance. Madness.

My great uncle had a Cartier watch but only wore it at home. He had a replica that he wore out. I think it’s nuts but a bit more acceptable than only owning the fakeYou rarely see Ferarris on the motorway these days. Round my way I often see a chap zip past in an F40 on Sundays, there’s someone with a 918 too. it’s awesome seeing them being used on the road.

I think 1 SWB was owned and raced by Stirling Moss,
Now owned by Ross Brawn.
Ross Brawn owns a different but almost identical 250 SWB https://www.goodwood.com/grrc/event-coverage/goodw...Now owned by Ross Brawn.
Although I believe Mr Brawn also owns a silver 250 SWB which was at the same event.
1 SWB's owner has had the pleasure of being it's "custodian" for 35 years.
