Early oil change

Do you own the car outright and are you keeping the car for ever ?
I don't get the oil change thing to be honest.
I’m very much a fan of the annual oil change. You really do feel/hear the difference from an oil change after 2 years, not huge difference, but enough to notice. I don't get the oil change thing to be honest.
My engineer’s brain says extra noise and vibration = friction = strain on the engine. And I just can’t bring myself to knowingly put extra strain in the engine.
The Porsche recommended 2 yearly oil change is great, and probably sufficient. But a yearly one alleviates any risk.
And at ~£80 (if you do it yourself) every 2 years between OPC servicing why not...

If you can "hear" "old" oil... being kind, you're imagining things, sorry. Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
