Anyone got any suggestions as to where to source O.E.M. discs and pads for an S,........besides the Main dealer network. I have to replace fronts and rears and the thought of paying £600 for the bits seems a bit daunting.
Cheers, Mark

Porsche Post (PCGB rag) is filled with ads.

The above chaps may be able to help.

Thanks Don

Anyone any experience of using discs/pads other than OEM stuff.
Interested to know if there are any worthwhile options from other manufacturers to consider before giving myself wallet trauma ?

Thanks in advance, Mark.

Haven't myself. A good independent garage (or design911 themselves) should be able to advise on who makes pads/discs for Porsche. Buying direct from the subcontractor might well save a few pennies...

I had a new set fitted by a specialist dealer to a Boxster S and it was a great job.

However, you may find that your local OPC can offer you a better price once your car is a little older.

I waited until I also needed new disc pads ---

You could also try Euro Car Parts. Genuine Porsche item. I've just ordered 2 rears for £224 incl shipping.
