Boxter S Engine Advice

Hi All
I’m not a Porsche afficianado , my Sportscar passion lies elsewhere but I’m asking for advice for a friend regarding an engine problem on a 2008 Boxter S 3.4 , apparently the bore is scored on number 6 cylinder , this sounds to me like an engine out , strip, rebore and rebuild ?
Can anyone recommend a reputable independent specialist in the HP3 area who could carry out this work for a reasonable cost and do the job properly ? any advice would be appreciated .....

Boxster! Probably local would be Autofarm who are that way. Personally I'd get the engine pulled & off to Hartech at Bolton.
