944 turbo car history .gear box oil

hi does anyone know any thing about my car reg c86kwl i have history up to 100 thousand but nothing up to last owner who carried out a lot of work mileage is now 186 thousand car still holds excellent oil pressure etc it has had 4 previous owners it is an early turbo year 85 also want to change gearbox oil .what do you surgest semi or fully syn thanks for your help mike ..car was registerd rw027 when new was supplied to maltin henley on thames . thanks mike

I've got an early 944,and the specialist I use recommended Swepco,its from across the pond,but available from Berlyn Services(do a Google),I had a slight whine in 4th,but has got no worse in 35000 miles,hope this helps.
