What to buy - 997 or 996?

Hop you guys can help. I intend getting a 911 and keeping it for between 8 months and a year. On that basis which is the best option for minimal depreciation over that time? 996, 997, Coupe or Cabriolet, S, 4S etc etc. Willing to spend around £70.
