Hi guys
I’m a newb here , I have a cayenne which I have put the original Chrono clock in the dash , I have wired up according to the diagram but have found out I need to get the pcm flashed or coded ? I rung around but aren’t getting anywhere, do I have to go the Porsche to get this done as I think they will charge the earth
Thanks

Did you have no clock before? I have the sport Chrono clock in a car without sport chrono package. I’ve had no issues with either clock.

I’m no help then. Mine came with a clock which got switched out because the hands fell off. It was replaced with a sports chrono. The hands fell off that one as well. I had another chrono put into it.

To quote my dealer “we make good cars but st clocks”.

Pretty sure the PCM part of the Chrono package requires an enabling code - only available from Porsche on their IPAS system; and only as standard (No Retrofit available). The clock control is via the Instrument Cluster and OBC; selection for summer time/12-24hr clock display etc.

Not heard of anyone else retrofitting - has a Google search shown up anything (USA is always worth a punt - first for paddle wheel Retrofit for example).
