OTR = Configurator Price + 1st Year VED + Registarion Fee

I assume the retail / OTR price for a new porker is simply,

Configurator Price (inc any options) + 1st Year VED + Registarion Fee

Just got a quote for a Macan S (no options) from my local OPC ... the OTR of £50,510.

Yet the finance example on the Porsche website states £50,045 OTR.

So why is the OPC is charging an extra £465?

Yes, I know can ask 'em Monday, but for now I'm intrigued. Perhaps its some insurance product ... tyres, alloys or other bks I don't actually need.

There's a delivery charge though 465 seems a bit light

The Porsche website finanace example doesn't mention delivery charges, which implies any delivery charges are already lumped in with the configurator price. Just need to add 1st year VED and reg fee.




Guess I need to ask the OPC to explain what the extra £465 they are charging covers.

Be careful they haven’t sneaked in some form of paint protection coating
