Porsche Bumpers US vs UK

Hi all!

I've been told that Porsche bumpers (front and rear) can differ in the US compared to what we have in the UK due to safety regulations

Does anyone know if this is true? If so, how different are they?

Cars in America have a 5mph impact rating where they should take no damage. Usually results in larger, heavier more expensive bumpers for the USA market, that are then sold far cheaper than the UK ones Not just Porsche though.
