Hunter Road Force in Hants?
Discussion
For the last week or so I’ve had a really annoying vibration, especially at 55-70+mph, through both the steering wheel and seat of my 987 CS.
It has been incredibly difficult to diagnose as I’ve just had all 4 discs, pads and tyres replaced, as well as refurbished OEM wheels installed.
Having had the brakes checked, alignment done and wheels balanced (on a ‘normal’ machine) I think the next step is to find a Hunter Road Force balancer to hopefully get to the bottom of the issue.
Can anyone recommend a garage with one of these in the Hampshire area? I’m equidistant between Portsmouth and Southampton so the closer to that area the better.
I’ve tried www.balancemycar.co.uk but after a few calls just before 1800 today the website seems a little inaccurate.
Thanks in advance.

I found one 50 miles away in Christchurch. The Christchurch Tyre Co here very helpful and it was all sorted in less than 30 mins.
They found the Front wheels were 25g and 15g out after a ‘normal’ balance by the Wheel Specialist in Fareham. This isn’t a slight on them, their machine did indeed state the wheels here balanced!
The rear wheels were fine, but I still felt a very slight shimmy through the seat on the drive home, I’m thinking it’s the new brakes breaking in as there’s still a load of dust being produced.
Much happier now, and would recommend a Road Force balance to anyone with similar issues, if you can find one!
