I’m thinking of buying a new 992C2 just wondered what are people’s thoughts on getting a decent discount on one? Previously had a 991 C2S and got about 8% off it that was 2012 and maybe they weren’t selling that well at the time, seems like there’s a slowdown again in the car market. Just wondered if anyone’s had any joy on the new model.
Less then zero chance I would guess. I was in Swindon OPC this morning and they implied most of their initial allocation has been sold. They shows me a C4S and I have to say it looked very good.
I was there to get 2 tyres for my 993 so I wasn't in serious negotiation and nor am I in their target market.

2% discount available on Coast2Coast cars
Which will be honoured by the supplying dealer through C2C.I was talking to a London dealer today about a car for my wife and he suggested they would possibly match the C2C web price on a new 911.
I have now just bought my wife a 2019, 2 month old Macan with 1500 miles on the clock. Spec’d with all most everything you could possibly want and more and it lists at £60500 plus on the road..........we’ve just paid £51,000 for the car, so quite a saving.
I know it’s not new or a 911 but I’ve never managed a discount on the previous cars I bought from Porsche.

Interesting the 2% discount. Has anyone ever got their OPC to successfully match those offers?
If you buy through C2C you will be purchasing through an official Porsche dealer, C2C are simply putting the two of you in touch for a small finders fee :yesIt may not be your local dealer but does that matter?
I checked with C2C a couple of years ago...asked about the discount and was told if I wanted to buy a car they’d ring a few OPC’s and see if they could find one that wanted to sell a car for a 2% discount.
Not surprised on the Macan deal....there are a lot of pre-registered cars around.

I’ve ordered 2 new (standard / non limited editions) cars from my local OPC in the last 2 years (the only Porsche dealership in Ireland :-)
They wouldn’t even give me 0.5% discount on either one, and they were happy to just let me walk away... which I didn’t, as there is no other Porsche dealership in Ireland.

There are two in Ireland, there is a world beyond the M50.They wouldn’t even give me 0.5% discount on either one, and they were happy to just let me walk away... which I didn’t, as there is no other Porsche dealership in Ireland.

No... just one in Ireland and another in Northern Ireland (which is the UK).
Where did you hear there were 2 in Ireland?
Last time I checked Belfast was on the island of Ireland. Though Belfast OPC has moved out to the Titanic Quarter, a lot of dealerships are leaving the Boucher Rd in favour of an area that celebrates a sinking ship.Where did you hear there were 2 in Ireland?

Has the Dunlaoghaire OPC closed? There is a new Porsche centre off the M50. I'm not on the M50 often so was surprised to see it and a GT?RS on display upstairs clearly visible from the motorway.Where did you hear there were 2 in Ireland?

At which exit on the M50, I can’t say I’ve noticed one, thought I rarely go beyond the Naas Rd. Exit 9.Ructions said:

Regardless of the fact it’s ‘only’ the 2L Mrs HoHoHo loves it and I agree, it’s a really good little drive. I bet the 3L etc. go very well indeed.
