hope evryone was OK. I saw Mike's car - red 986 CS for sale? Also saw the RX8 - nasty! Plus a VX shunted on what must have been the familiarisation lap!
Nice to meet Jeremy C & Clubsport at last, unexpected appearance from The Domster & I also spied Bluesatin too. Highlight of the day? - Iguana showing his dad just how to take Clearways in his Golf
. All in all a good day with a good standard of driving in our sessions at least!

What started out as a nightmare in the novice class with more 4 wheeled mobile chicanes and roadblocks than the M25 turned into a stunning afternoon after was told to move to the intermediates.
Had a fantastic time with Sam in his GT3 and I doing lap after lap, close together on the track. Bloody tricky corner clearways is me thinks as found very difficult to get the correct line through most times.
New vid camera mount produced really great results and so have just re watched most of the afternoon!!!!
Yep was my 968 CS up for sale but no takers yet, everytime I see it I want to hang onto it as it is such a great car but difficult to justify 2 trackday cars.
As Sam knows I had big grinding noises coming from front brakes, after repeating checking everyone assured me that the pads were fine etc etc but still very disconcerting. Was very interesting to play around with the tyre pressures and made a huge difference.
Hopefully will meet up with some more of you next time, whats the next dates any of you are doing??

What a great day, thankfully the weather held back so I could try my new sticky rubber.
Good to catch up with many PH guys there and to meet Francis & Rubystone in his flying Caterham at last!
Always a pleasure to consistently drive past Gt3 & TT's on track,in my little old car
,,clearly the Fastrak/Titanic pace setters were missed with European tracks to conquer!
I think a little more power and commitment is needed to get near the trailored VHPD Caterhams though...nice driving JC

Mike, how fast was that Escort Mark 2?...and what about the turobed up Cosworths etc - we had one in our group and I personally didn't see him anywhere the whole day!

this is a cut and paste from my advert on here
62,500 miles. Due to the arrival of a GT2, my red 968CS has to go. The car was first registered in August 1993 (‘L’ reg). It has covered a low 62,446 miles, which is supported by the documentation with the car. I bought the car from RPR Specialist Cars in September 2004, when, for peace of mind, I paid for the car to be inspected by Porsche Centre Newcastle. Since this time it has only covered 2,000 miles, as I live overseas most of the time. The last service was at 60,372miles, which included timing belts, chain and tensioners. This was carried out by specialist Nelson Porsche. The car has PSH until 1999, and then extensive documentation to cover the Porsche specialist service history since. The car is MOT’d until January 2006, and taxed until October 2005.
The car is standard spec – mechanically and cosmetically, except for competition pads, fluid and steel hoses, and a K&N air filter, all added recently as I had intended to do regular track days. I have also added a CD/MP3 player. As per the seller’s description when I bought it, and confirmed by the OPSS report, the car is in excellent mechanical and general condition, with bright paintwork and good, clean and tidy interior.
it is up for 16.5k but will accept a slightly lower offer obviously
