2011 Porsche Cayenne Tailgate stuck!
Discussion
Hi. I have a 2011 version Porsche Cayenne. Yesterday when trying to open the tailgate it bleeped 3 times although I could open it manually. I then realised that the battery had gone flat as I had left something using the 12v power running over night. I then closed the tailgate manually and put the car on charge.
Its now fully charged and the battery is fine but althoiugh I car hear the tailgate unlocking its is impossible to open with the key or the inside door switch or indeed manually from the outside; it simply appears locked!
I've climbed inside the boot and can hear everything appear to open but it makes a further electronic closing noise about 30 seconds later as if the boot is locking its self.
I've spent hours looking on the internet without any real answers; its driving me mad! Has anyone ever experienced this and have a simple soultion
pleeeeeeease!

Many thanks '595Heaven' unfortunately my Cayenne is the newer version so it has difference fuse number etc. I have checked the fuse that links to the tailgate and it appears ok. Its almost like its locked and yet I can hear the electronics operating to unlock it. I'm wondering if its a software error that may need updating somehow.
Just to follow this up as I solved it.
I took the car for a longer trip to ensure the battery was fully charged and even though it looked fine, I changed the fuse for the tailgate.
It then opened!
Anyway hope this helps anyone who this happens to as well and thanks again to 595Heaven for your suggestion.
