Clubsport,

Do you have a picture of your car, I don't remember seeing an RS on the day, maybe you can jog my memory! Would have loved to be out with group A, but it looked a little *fast* for little old me. But after lunch group B seemed to have plenty of open track for me and Mike to play in!

S3am...here are a few excellent shots taken by Trackdemon,

The car was a little grubby as it had been at Bedford aurodrome the day before....Stephen managed to hide the grime with his sublime photographic skills.

We had a blast in group A, fairly fast, but to be fair I missed the Fastrak/Titanic crew's pace....some of the larger engined Porker/ Ferrari owners were either not trying (unlikely) or perhaps should have spent a little more money on driver education?

There was only one fast Porsche in Group A - IIRC - metallic black, lhd and pedalled by an old boy in tweeds

Mark, just think how quick it would have been if the driver was wearing one of those special race suits

Ruby was that the black 996? that was far from quick, bit of a pain about pulling over too when trying to get past.

Mind you he wasnt as slow as the fella in the 360 challenge stradale, (who had excellent track etiqutte tho) mind you that sounded excellent! tho less noise quite than other CS's ive heard i thought? maybe less noisy track exhaist fitted?

Sometimes you just don't get it Lizard do you

the Challenge Stradale wasn't going too bad towards the end of the day, not sure about track etiquette unless booting it down the straights counts? was a pleasure outbraking the dancin' D into clearways and clearing off ...
You have to respect someone who tracks such a car also the other guy in the Diablo.

CS- I defo had no blocking or hoon on the straight bits & dwaddle round the bends issues from Mr Ferarri, he puled over nice & easy each time, Mr 996 tho held me up for a whole lap at one point..... grrrr

Indeed full respect for tracking the 360 & diablo & the fella in the Aston too.

Has Lizard been drinking too many alcopops again?...the black 996 eventually got the message but I did feel sorry for him being swallowed up by everyone!

The guy in the CS claims on another forum that he let no-one past...I went past him twice and I know that the lunatics in their SLRs also overtook him, but as you say, all credit to him for tracking it in the first place

:tonguefirmlyincheekmode:
Yeh well when you drive as quickly as me- the brain just has no ability to absorb any more info, so its taken a few days for me to get back to normal- bit like Fangio & his 'ring victory all those yrs ago & him famously not being able to sleep for days.....

Ruby post up a link to wher the 360 chap is talking about not being passed, silly boy! all of us lot went past in pretty much every session I think!! & JC must have lapped him twice a session at least!
