991.2 GTS Values /Prices Now and into 2020
Discussion
Hi folks,
Just wanted to get a temperature check on what the consensus currently is on what 991.2 prices are doing now and what they are likely to do with the 992 deliveries coming through in the next 6 months onwards?
Specifically interested in 991.2 GTS prices personally as potential buyer but interested to hear opinions on all 991.2 models.
Cheers

Thanks, 911R.
Values still seem a bit richer than I anticipated on the sticker price - you think they are going for asking generally, or dealers having to do deals and let them go 5%-10% lower?
Very little is achieving 'sticker' price at the moment, unless aggressively priced.Values still seem a bit richer than I anticipated on the sticker price - you think they are going for asking generally, or dealers having to do deals and let them go 5%-10% lower?
You have nothing to lose by offering 5-10% less, it's a fair starting point & the car market is on it's ar5e at the mo!
I can’t see GTS 991.2 prices performing too well in relation to other models.
It’s the first generation of a new technology (turbo vs nasp) which is never a good thing for future values, and by the 991.2 era GTS is becoming more of a trim level than really standout performance. Ok yes it’s better than a S but ....
Already 991.2 GTS are falling below decent 991.1 GTS.
Just my opinion and I fully accept I may be wrong!

I think I would pay more for a well specced manual 991.1 GTS than the equivalent 991.2 GTS with the turbo's.
There’s definitely a lot to be said for a manual box with a naturally aspirated engine but the manual 991.2 GTS I drove was pretty good! I think there are also a lot more manual .2’s around than .1’s....the craze for manual 911’s only really started after most .1’s had been delivered.
