My porker has been a great project. I am happy with the car.....happy to keep it but for an itch that I may need to scratch.

Another project may be on the horizon, which would mean the porker would have to be sold in order to finance it.

I am happy driving a daily snotter to give me the opportunity to do the new car up. The latest project would be a TVR s3...A car I have always liked. And, a fellow ph'er...

What is my porker worth? It really is a corker, good colour, oval dash, leather 108k which the previous owner has confirmed, new belts, tensioners, clutch cylinders, brakes, stainless dansk exhaust, k and n filter, great tyres, just had major service....
The full list is on my profile. I really really don't know what it is worth. It took me 6 months of scraped knuckles, and was tinkered with with real effort.

Purely a hypothetical question as I have seen them going for all sorts of money..

Here's a pic..

PS It's a D reg... and that's not oil, it's water from where I have just washed it........

I know that you're open about this Mike....so whoever values it has to take into account the fact its Cat D.

BUT it's clear from what little you had to do to the car that the write-off decision must have been very very close - tipped over no doubt by the ludicrous price of OPC price level parts.

Absolutely, it is on the register...I have a letter from the previous owner stating he drove over a tyre on the motorway, causing the damage that inadvertently wrote it off...
Bumper repair, radiator, that's it... its all on the profile, but can only assume due to labour and bits from opc that's why.....mad, but true.

I dont believe you!

Once you have a TVR you will yearn for a Porsche.... probably a 911SC or carrera or maybe a 964

just as Alfa is the devil to BMW, TVR is to Porsche

Hang on fellas, it's only a hypothetical question, how much....it's not being advertised yet so was after some help in valuing it if the chance came up.

Besides, why should I 'learn' if I am not losing money and generally keeping myself in free motoring.

As long as I am having a good time, then why not.....even my wife doesn't mind.

Tough question, as much as you can get really, you see Lux 944s up for all sorts of dosh, I'd say on the £1k to £3k area, the latter if they just see its in top nick & don't bother to HPI it, actually in that case you could get even more.

Personally tho I'd pay £1500 tops.

Its looks stunning in that pic. Shame that you seem to be a person that feels compelled to sell a car when its sorted!

Thanks Iguana.
Dan, the only reason it would be going is to get my teeth into another project. Ideally I would keep the porker and buy the other one as well. I doubt if it will come off so the porker stays......

I am only after a guide price as I don't have a clue should the new project come to fruition..I'm not selling it!!!!!!!
