John , Try any ATS depot ( Nationwide Company). I always use them . 15 % off Michelin tyres 'til the end of this month.

John,

Try Bracknell Tyre and Battery on:
01344 411323

or Micheldever Tyres, on:
01962 774437

Good luck!

I got a set of 4 tyres for my M3 for £520 which was a lot cheaper than anywhere else locally - Micheldever Tyres (nr Winchester) - only thing is to expect up to an hour in the queue.

Guys

Cheers for that I'll give them all a ring for the best quote.

Also can someone answer this one! I have 19" on the Turbo and at the moment as stated I have 315/25/19 tyres on them, alot of tyre people have said that I should have 315/35/19 is this correct any advice???

Little scratch on the Rials Paul but nothing to much to worry about luckily I was doing about 20 mph when the blowout happened.

My 996 turbo with standard alloys/tyres etc has 295/30 18. By increasing your width to 315 and increasing the diameter of the alloy, you should indeed be reducing the profile to maintain a similar rolling radius, so a 25 profile makes sense. Anyone suggesting you should be increasing the profile of your tyre to 35 is a moron. If they work in the tyre industry they should be shot in the town square as an example to others in the industry to know WTF they are talking about before someone dies.

PS as a point of reference can someone please confirm the tyre size of the GT2 with the wider 18inch alloy. I think it may be a 315/25 18. In which case your 19 inch alloy may need a lower profile than 25, alloy permitting of course.
