be interesting to know how loud it reads - as others have said, might be a problem getting into trackdays..I know a lot of the titanic boys have problems with anything other than stock (and even with stock systems)

It is very loud.. not since my TVR days with sports exhausts, have I had any thing like this.

The gattling gun style overun is well worth it though, and for £275 all in.. total no brainer.

Brands and Snetterton are normally relaxed..ish over dbs, but will have a test anyway and see how it pans out.!

I'd definitely get a noise test done, my 996 C4S with PSE and a Fabspeed CAI hit 108dB, that level at Snetterton will result in you being pulled off. Without the CAI a standard 996 with PSE will be around 104dB.

Not sure they are available here.. I was about to order from the US on fabspeed site.. www.fabspeed.com/996.html

Then an S9 member pm to say he had a new set for £200, so bought those..

Thing is most tuning companies in UK and Germany would rather sell a full £2k upwards system, than 2 bypass pipes for £200.!

The sound is very aggressive above 4000rpm.., but below that it sounds like my old C4S with switchable PSE..

Cheers

it is difficult to know how loud something really is. because if you go to many track days you will find that different circuits can give very different decibel readings.
donnington are very good about noise; they do a drive by test by the pits and only if you are way too loud do they pull you in for another test.
castle combe is odd, as they have to be very strict with noise, but their noise meter has been known to be very variable and that has caused my mum to forfeit a whole morning's driving while she had her whole exhaust changed.

and remember, a 3Db change is the same as doubling the actual volume! so you can see why most tracks have to be fairly strict about noise levels.

yeah.. I know
Asda, but they gave me best quote for car initially, so not much I could do..!

Thing is, I was gonna say nothing, but with this expense of car, did not wanna chance it, so you basically give them a free pass with charges.
