Looking at a GT3 Mk1 with 40k miles on clock.

Anything in particular to look for - I'm thinking clutch at this mileage...

I would have thought at 40k the clutch may already have been changed some while ago. Does the car have an OPC warranty? The engines on these things are supposed to be very strong but if they do let go then the bills will be large one's. Obvious things like FSH and HPI need to be fully in order. Is it RHD or LHD and what sort of price are they asking. I bought mine within last 2 weeks and know somebody who sold one last week both rhd examples. If you want price comparisons then EMail me and I can give you details of both.

As said before, 40K is nothing to these cars. Clutch, brakes, usual consumables - there are no particular weaknesses to look out for. Major service is/was due at 4 yrs or 48K - make sure its been done.

If its a clubsport make sure you get the fire extinguisher, drivers side harness and front section of cage.
