I do believe that little things can make a huge difference. Can anyone suggest what they have on their cars, or have seen to make a 944 even more attractive?

My Dad had a stock Honda Accord back in the 80's, but he put lots of little doo-da's on it which made as looked at as any sportscar he has owned thereafter! Well almost anyway....!

I have a bridge spoiler from the 968 on mine (silver to match the body) - which I think looks better than the original black rubber rear spoiler.

Updated wheels can look good too. Cup wheels and various other can do the job well.

Cup wheels do look very nice indeed (but I would say that, as I've got some )

Couple that to some huge brakes off a 993tt and you're looking great. Not too cheap mind

I do think a spoiler is called for. The original does look a wee bit cheap...

How about body adornment? I have a Lancia Zagato, and it has two aluminum discs in the corners of the bonnet... very elegant...

Cup alloys or teledials!!?

How about this for a bit of inspiration ? Not sure about the extra nostrils but the front splitter and 968 wing mirrors looks great.

Pictures stolen from Rennlist !

Personally I really like the Design 90 that were standard on the later 944s, think they look great. Obviously its what I have so I'm biased.

As for mods though I rather feel this is the ultimate:

Edited to say: that link obviously didn't work for some reason - anyway its the 9m supercharger kit for the 944S2/968

Red Calipers... regardless of size, doesnt matter which wheels you've got red calipers....

I agree with the bridge spoiler... v.nice. Cup 1's without a doubt the dogs danglies esp with red calipers.. front splitter?... white front indicators and depending on the colour of teh car either white or red rear indicators...

Porshe crest stickers above the side indicators ins a scuderia styly...

968/993 cup mirrors...

drop the ride hieght...

body coloured 4" sunvisor sticker...

polished D90's look really nice...

Non popup headlight conversion...

968 steering wheel...

Viper stripes...

Furry Dice...

neon lights under the sills...

porsche crested licence plates...

Agree re. the steering wheel - original 944 one is dire, Club Sport very nice. I've also changed the cssette holder thingy in the centre console for an oddments tray.

Cannot agree re. the red calipers - if they are real Big Reds then defo, but not to painting "normal" calipers red (you may not have meant this of course). Just having mine re-furbed and repainted (in black) at the mo, should collect it tomorrow.

Mine is standard apart from a dansk sports exhaust and k/n filter. They do make a difference.

Design 90 wheels look good. Other than that I think they look better left alone.

Anyone remember the 365 BB Ferrari? That used to come in a two tone, black and red paint job.

Has anyone got any interesting pictures of 944 colours schemes?

I like some of the race schemes, with a 'flash' covering the rear flanks...

The only "Mods" I would consider are retrofitting parts like 968 door handles, mirrors, bridge spoiler Cup/Fuch/Twists ,Turbo valance etc, basically anything that Porsche updated on later cars.Imo adding things like neons, stickers and all that crap results in 2 things.
1. You look like a K*ob,leave it to the lax power brigade.

2. You'r resale value will take a nose dive, original unmolested 944's are always worth more. (would you trust a Porsche owner who put neon lights under their car?)

Oh, and I've yet to see a 944 that suits a 2 tone paint job. (924 Turbo's had some nice ones though.)

With you there mate. Lets be clear, I certainly am not considering making a 944 look like something out of fast and furious. Any improvements would have to be tasteful, not to my taste but Porsche enthusiasts in general!

Please excuse the bonnet scoop which was installed by a previous owner but I think the standard car with just small touches like newer wheels and tinted windows looks good.. (thought you'd like this pic because there's a 968 cab behind me as well)
