planning to purchase a 991 GT3RS but cautious about "price bubble" do I buy now or sit for a and while see if prices drop. I intend to put miles on the car not going to be a garage queen so fully expect in 5 yrs time to have 50k on clock so residuals not a concern. Any thoughts were future prices are heading on these cars .

In the long term Prices will go down the longer you wait, so it just down to when you want it.

But there is a general trend - Winter is a good time to buy. GT car used prices tend to bounce back a bit in March/April before the track season starts. Then maybe drop off in the late autumn as more come for sale after summer fun.

Prices will drop in my view ( I have a 991RS).

For a start they made a ton of them compared to earlier cars, so the rarity value is not there. Secondly interest in cars is waning and the next generation will have little interest in ICE cars. Thirdly people paid insane prices for them if they did not get them at list. They will be burned. Finally there will be a 992RS and a number of owners will want to move on.

That being said it is a GREAT car and I intend to keep it on my little fleetsmile...........

Lots of people criticize the 991RS for no manual, which is fair enough. Personally , I love the car and will hang onto it until I am too old to drive it; I kept my 997 RS also and still enjoy the manual. I regret selling the 7.2, but only a little - my final RS will be the 992 and then there will be no more.

Market value is irrelevant if you are not going to sell. If had unlimited space and funds I would probably have kept many cars that are in my past.

not going to sell but don't want to be victim of inflated price. Divorces killed my wish list but not doing so bad if I get the GT3 RS and bang the miles on it before I get really to old.
