All, please please please ensure you video your cars being loaded by the AA or any appointed company as they will not approve repairs without concrete proof.
The truck they sent did not have enough clearance and my car grounded out. So badly the guy needed me to help remove it then swap round and reverse up. I had witness, called Porsche immediately and sent photos showing clear effects that could not have been caused by anything not being a long sharp incline. However, the AA refused responsibility , refused to check ground clearance details on the truck proving my point but sent the pictures to an independent team they appoint to just refuse.... I'm very dissatisfied, not what I'd expect from a Porsche represented service!

We are sadly in an age where People , A: don't give a st and B: the companies they work for don't give a st either.

It's pretty shocking how people treat other peoples stuff and worse when you contact said company and their boss tells you to like it or lump it.

Only way to get anything sorted these days is a firm letter at director level....

RAC aren't much better...

That said my experience of Porsche Recovery was frustrating for a different reason, I ended up with a full vehicle recovery for a dead battery, they weren't allowed to fit a replacement as the car was under official warranty.

Had to have another crappy Moll battery fitted at an extortionate price.

I have the polar opposite experience !

each time the car has been recovered, which is more times than I would like, the AA recovery service has been exceptional.

Most recently, when a certain OPC got the PDK oil level incorrect on a service, and the box went into limp mode, the AA sent out a fully covered lorry, with an almost perfectly flat bed that laid on the road.

Multiple photos taken to show the job was perfect, and I was invited to make sure that I was happy with everything.

Had a friend who had to have his GT2 recovered from Spa, and again the same service ensued, inc repatriation.

I must be lucky!

I meant lucky with the service, not the reliability of the car(s)!
