Alternative Supercharged 944
Discussion
Found this on Rennlist seems like an interesting and slightly cheaper (rather dependant on exchange rate, shipping and taxes!) route to supercharging the old inline 4 than the 9M kit and its aimed at the 8v motor rather than the 16V units.
The add is here.

Also I have found that wilwood do a 4 pot brake conversion suitable for early 944's and the 924S, that will fit inside the 15" wheel as it retains the original discs.

Yes I know that realisticaly its probably beter all round bet to chop your early 44 in for an S2 or a Turbo but at least thee are now options for those who cant bare to part with their early car and yet want more performance !

Wasn't it a SFR kit the 9M used to supply, all be it with the iffy mapping sorted out by him? I remember the friendly banter on Rennlist when the US supercharger kits were first being developed.
I guess by the time you've paid shipping, duty, VAT etc and had the mapping sorted properly you are looking at about £4k for the basic kit with no intercooler, assuming you fit it yourself.
