Getting a warranty from an OPC on ind dealer car
Discussion
Hi All
Well, I am still in the market for a 2000-2002 996 (with aerokit) and have not managed to find the correct spec from an OPC within my £45k budget. So..... I have started looking at the independent dealers and there are quite a few around and this leads me onto my question - How realistic is to get an OPC to come out, check an ind dealer's car and issue a one Porsche warranty - whats the cost and the correct process to adopt without treading on anyone's toes (i.e OPS and ind)
Thanks in Advance

I'm not sure if they will come out to an Independent garage but vendors should have no problem taking to an OPC for check on your behalf. Provided the car has full OPC warranty, I think Porsche will charge you about £200 to inspect the car for eligibility onto the OPC warranty scheme. I think annual premium is then about £750 once your in. Give em a call and ask em!
