Crikey, that's one rare car.

Mind you, they didn't need to make any more than 7 as they were only used for posing for Athena posters on teenage lads' bedroon walls.

heh, when 911&PW did their "cabrio" supplement a few months back they included all sorts of stuff - and the picture for the 930 SE flatnose cab actually showed the coupe, because they couldn't find a picture of the cab...

Good luck though, i'd love for someone on PH to buy one and bring it to a meet!

I'm sure I've seen one of these that's been advertised loads over the last 6 months or so. It's in burgundy and claims to have been used in some thriller-type film that I can't remember the name of - was a great film tho'...

Will try and find it for you.

As always it's just come to me - Robert de Niro & Cape Fear...

Someone will probably now tell me that they know the car and it's only a replica or something like that.

I'd bet my last quid that's not an original SE. No-one in their right mind would ever change one from original, those wheels are from a 90's car.

Maybe keeping the original wheels in his loft at home?
Just playing devil's advocate...

This is a very interesting car - it was presented to Ferry Porsche's sister (Louise.....?) when she and Ferry handed over the day - to - day running of the Porsche company. It is in a custom colour (the dealers that sold it recently apparently had written permission from Porsche that whoever bought the car could change the colour) and a custom pinkish/cream leather interior. It was sold for something like £37995. A bit of a bargain, really.

The dealer was called 'Spearmint' - enter their name into the dealer search of www.autotrader.co.uk and you will get their details etc. They may have the details of the lucky buyer.

Cheers,
Iain
