Insurance for new Boxster S (987)

With apologies for yet another post about insurance, I'm taking delivery of a new Boxster S next week and trying to get a deal on insurance. Best quote so far from Adrian Flux £613 with £400 xs. Can get it down to £500s but a tracker is required (which with supply, fit and subscription makes it more expensive) and/or you have to take a huge xs e.g. £1,500.

Seems expensive as I'm late forties with 6 years NCB, no convictions and car is garaged over night. Any suggestions as to who might be able to do a cracking deal?

Have you tried Performance Marque on 0121 248 0996. They were about £500 for my Box S when I was 36 a few years back. They offer a special price for members of the Porsche Owners Club so may be best joining that first!!
