Hi All,
Hope this is not a silly question but recently got a 981 and it has a porsche warranty on it. I understand servicing has to be at OPC etc however can I change parts such as wheels or rear lights as long as they are genuine porsche parts without the dealer doing them?

Thanks

Pope

3 points to note;

If a fault occurs as a result of a modification or sub-standard part the Warranty will not cover a failure.

Replacement/augmented parts; as long as they are listed within Tequipment for the specific model, will be covered - retrofit wheels/steering wheels/seats/seatbelts/decals/exhaust etc

As long as there are no 3rd party installations at time of renewal you'll be fine to extend the Warranty cover in future.

Hi pope.

Thanks for the reply. I have read up on the warranty rules/tc quite a bit so I’m aware only genuine Porsche parts can be used.

Can I ask what you mean by your last point. I assume you just mean 3rd party non genuine Porsche parts?

Essentially anything non-genuine can void a renewal
