Newie-Looking 2 test drive Boxter

Hiya

I have some spare money to spend and was thinking a Boxster would be ideal as a weekend car.
Only thing is I'm not all that sure about driving a wee low down car...
I was thinking - Test drive, but all my mates laughed at me saying 'NO WAY'!
Is there no way I can test drive a Porsche from the dealer?

Von....just phone your nearest Porsche dealer and of course and ask! Of course you can test drve...not sure what your friends are laughing at!

Now I get to laugh back at them when I spin past them in the Porsche!

I'm sure a friendly independent would be more than willing to let you take a test drive. I think Northway might be near you.

You could test drive a Lamborghini Murcielago if you want...you just have to tell the dealer what he wants to hear!!!
When i was a young lad, and poor..Yawn.. i used to amuse myself by test driving loads of cars, i even got a Ferrari 355 for the weekend, top bird puller that one!! only problem is i had to give it back and the girl i pulled in it dumped me, cos i lied!!! never mind...she's my wife now!!

Yeah thats right, go in looking smart preferably in a nice car to start with, talk about 50% deposits if you like it, but you want a decent test drive, ask if they do weekend tests. As for picking up a nice looking man...whatever floats your boat!!!you'll do it I promise.

Nooooooo don't do it! You'll get all sucked in to the Porsche experience and won't be able to think about anything else!
